La Levi-Montalcini Foudation condivide l’iniziativa “The Great Green Wall of the Sahara and the Sahel Initiative (GGWSSI)” un progetto pionieristico condotto in Africana nell’ambito della lotta agli effetti indotti dal cambiamento climatico globale e dalla desertificazione. Guidata dall’Unione africana, l’iniziativa mira al miglioramento della qualità di vita di milioni di persone attraverso la creazione di un vasto sistema (o mosaico) di paesaggi produttivi verdi tra il Nord Africa, il Sahel e il Corno d’Africa.
The Levi-Montalcini Foundation shares the initiative “The Great Green Wall of the Sahara and the Sahel Initiative (GGWSSI)” a pioneering project conducted in Africa as part of the fight against the effects induced by global climate change and desertification. Led by the African Union, the initiative aims to improve the quality of life of millions of people through the creation of a vast system (or mosaic) of productive green landscapes between North Africa, the Sahel and the Horn of Africa.
